Essendon was set up by Roger Eddowes in 2014, and he swiftly made a point of expanding the skills, knowledge, and expertise of the practice to ensure businesses are fully catered for with respect to their accounting needs. The ethos that Roger based everything on then still forms the foundation for everything we do now. But what does that mean to you, a business owner? Let us explain…

Roger is a ‘getting his hands dirty’ type of accountant. He believes that’s the only way to give emerging, small-to medium and family businesses the best accountancy advice. And by tapping into the extensive network of business contacts he has built up, he’s also able to leverage the most suitable guidance and practical solutions for them too. It’s this caring, hands-on approach that has led him to be called a Business Godparent by many clients.

However, there is a very practical side to the Essendon take on things too. We are always looking for ways to make the best use of technology so we can focus on your business rather than spend time on repetitive tasks. That’s why we are a Xero Gold Partner.
